- What if I haven’t published anything before and I’m brand new to online business? That’s great! Welcome to a whole new world of creating income on the internet! We will walk you step by step and help you getting started.
- What if I already have an Etsy store? You will be able to add digital listings to your existing store or you can add a new shop specifically for your digital products.
- When you say “digital” what type of files are you referring to? Acceptable file formats are: bmp .doc .gif .jpeg .jpg .mobi .mov .mp3 .mpeg .pdf .png .psp .rtf .stl .txt .zip .ePUB and .iBook.
- Is there a file size limit? Yes, the maximum size is up to 20 mb per file.
- How do I deliver files to my buyers? After your customer makes their purchase, they will receive a download link from Etsy. When you initially create your seller listing, you will have already uploaded your files. They are hosted directly inside of Etsy making the process all automatic. Can I get an “heck yeah!” for a simple one and done system like that?
- Do I need to have my own domain name, website or hosting plan? You don’t need them. Your shop and files will be hosted on Etsy.
- Will I need upc codes for my products? No. You will not need any upc, isbn, or bar codes for your products.
- Can I use the same designs I use on my other print on demand products such as; mugs, tshirts, books, etc.? Yes. You can use any designs on your products as long as they do not infringe on anyone’s copyright. We will show you in the course how to customize your designs and format them for specifically for your Etsy customers.
- Is there any cost associated with selling on Etsy? There is a minimal .20 insertion fee per each product listing. When your product sells it’s .20 U.S. dollars (20 cents) seller fee. After the sale you will also be charged a transaction fee of 5% of the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping. Plus Etsy Payments charges 3% + $0.25 per transaction. Other fees may apply but are optional such as ads and Pro Plan.
- What if I’m not an illustrator, graphic designer or Photoshop expert? There are several videos in your course dashboard teaching you step by step how to create files just by using PowerPoint. If you already use another program (Canva, Photoshop, etc.), then you can follow the course design videos for inspiration while using your own prospective software program.
- How much do my products sell for on Etsy? You will set your own prices. If a customer likes your product and price, they will buy it.
- But aren’t printables a cheap product that only sells for $2-$4 each? In the course we teach you multiple selling and pricing strategies such as bundle set listings to maximize your checkout value per customer.
