- This is a high value masterclass, why is it priced so low? Both Michelle and Fernando have received requests for over a year from their print-on-demand students wanting to create their own online bookstores. This introductory price makes it easily affordable for everyone (without having to pay a web designer thousands of dollars to do it for you). At the conclusion of the first session the price will significantly increase.
- Will I have to carry physical inventory of my books and ship them to my buyers? No. The products in your bookstore are “print on demand.” The book manufacturer will automatically fulfill products to your buyers, so you don’t have to waste valuable time having to manage orders or pack and ship products.
- Is this just for low-content books? No. You can upload and publish any type of book to your store; journals, planners, coloring books, activity books, cookbooks, children’s books, etc. Plus! You can make your books in black & white or color and in paperback, hardcover or spiral format with your own custom interiors!
- Will I be able to add my hundreds of KDP books to this store? You could, but it’s not recommended. This masterclass will be focused on how to have a “niche” bookstore.
- What is a domain name and do I have to buy one? A domain is the address of your website, for example; www.yoursite.com. The standard price for anyone registering a domain name on the Internet nowadays is fifteen dollars or less. You will want to have your own domain for your bookstore. After the first masterclass session there will be instructions in your dashboard so you will know how to choose a domain name and the best place to buy it.
- Do I have to buy a web hosting plan? No. The shopping cart platform we will be using includes website hosting for your storefront (no wordpress or coding required). There is however a monthly fee associated with using the platform (less than $30).
- Do I have to buy ISBN’s for my books? No. You can publish and sell print-on-demand books in your store without having to buy or need ISBN numbers.
- Will the books I publish in my bookstore be automatically be available for sale on Amazon? They could, but we won’t be teaching how in this masterclass.
