Amazon Sponsored Ads are one method of marketing and promoting your books to potential buyers.

Unfortunately many people decide to “try” ads, then quite after they can’t figure it out or they don’t like the cost.

I’m here to tell you that it is indeed profitable, but it takes work to make it pay you back. This is my actual screenshot as of today.

Q: Do you need to invest in ads to make money publishing books?

A: No. I have books that sell every day that I have never advertised. Ads are not for every book you publish.

However, for your books with profit potential ads may be just what you need.

What ads CAN do …

  • Increase unit sales
  • Contribute to a better BSR
  • A better BSR = more organic sales too!

What ads CAN NOT do…

  • Can not increase sales of a book nobody wants
  • Can not get more sales of an ugly book or ugly listing
  • Can not make you rich overnight

I’m sharing this with you because I want to encourage you to keep going with your ad campaigns! Don’t quit!
