Go to www.google.com/hotpot. Rank and write reviews for the suggested local listings, or search specifically for your favorite businesses.
To use Google Hotpot you need to have a Google account.
How Hotpot helps your business
The more stars next to your business – increases the opportunity of click through rates to your Google Places business listing and website. A 5-star business rating is more preferable to internet searchers than no stars.
How ranking businesses helps you
Each time you rank a business, your name is linked to your comments which creats another instance of you online! (Because comments are publicly viewable, I recommend leaving only positive comments).
